“A few days ago I finished a wonderful trip through the Bowron Lakes Chain. Your superb guides, Georgia and Vick, with their bright attitudes and professional competence, made a great trip fantastic. Did I mention the food? It was outstanding!”
“Nahanni trip was just great and Janell and I were so pleased. Your guide Adam worked extra hard but still did a wonderful job. Can’t say enough good things about your company!”
“Hi Len, I just wanted to let you know how fantastic I think your team is. Your guides made this West Coast Trail trip truly the trip of a lifetime for us. I’ve been to 24 countries and have had lots of amazing experiences, but this one trumps them all. Although, we decided not to tell folks how fantastic the food was, we didn’t want anyone to think it was a “walk in the park”….thanks for everything!!! We’ll definitely be back!!!!”
Hi Len – I just want to thank your team for the amazing trip I had on the Bowron Lakes August 07. Georgia and Victor our guides were incredible. Throughout they maintained a professional approach to the trip working long and hard every day to ensure all of us had everything we needed. I travelled alone and made friends and had a great time much assisted by Georgia and Victor. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They were first up and last to retire every evening. From their wilderness craft, to their encyclopaedic knowledge of the local area and its flora and fauna. The ensured that every day was a joy and the food was outstanding and there was always plenty to eat. I’m still not convinced that there wasn’t someone in the forest releasing wildlife on cue as the seemed to know what was round the corner on a regular basis. As for the scenery. I live in Ireland and have travelled extensively throughout the world, so I have seen my share of beautiful scenery. I can honestly say that waking up each morning knowing that I would be spending another day in such beautiful serene and peaceful surroundings was an amazing experience. I believe the only word I can use to describe it (I’m aware it is much over used) is awesome. I would highly recommend your company and the Bowron Lake trip to anyone who is considering this type of holiday. Thank you for what turned out to be the most fulfilling trip I have ever enjoyed.
I wanted to let you know that as you predicted, the West Coast Trail was a fantastic experience! It was great to be able to spend the time with “like-minded individuals”, making new friends and experiencing near perfect weather. The group got along well, there were many fun adventures along the way and the food was fantastic. All of this would not have been possible without your staff. Through the efforts and skills of your guides, we were able to gel as a group and develop a sense of commraderie. They were professional and compassionate (as evident when one of our group members was unable to complete due to an injury), and were also extremely knowledgeable about the trail; along with a great sense of fun & humour. I was also pleasantly surprised how much I learnned not only about the trail, but hiking, camping and wildlife in general.
Your wonderful guides made our West Coast Trail trip a success. Their caring manner, total dedication and excelent cooking skills made our adventure a pleasure. Thank you all.
“Well, what can I say – I am now back in the UK after these 2 wonderful, amazing trips and wanted to write and say thank you and how brilliant everything was, but words are now failing me! I was lucky enough to have Mark and Laura as our guides on both trips – and I want them on any future trips I do as well please! They were just the best guides I’ve ever known – they even managed to get me over the Chilkoot so they must be magicians! What an amazing time I’ve had – from the wading (wading?) of the Chilkoot Trail (yes, that was interesting!) to the wonderful views at the top of the pass to the long walk down over the snow, the brilliant timing of the readings and poetry and did I mention how wonderful the food was? Well, it was! Then the canoe trip on the Yukon River– what a great follow up! Ft Selkirk was wonderful, enhanced by the stories from Don and the fresh salmon. The bears and moose and eagles. Again, the stories and poetry and history – and did I mention how wonderful the food was? Both groups were great and we just laughed so much – I didn’t want it to end!! I would encourage anyone who wanted to experience the Yukon to travel with you, Sea to Sky, as I can’t believe how much I enjoyed every single minute (and there’s so many of them when the sun hardly sets!) and how much I wish I was still there. I don’t use the word ‘awesome’ as it sounds silly when I say it – but Mark and Laura were awesome and your standards are second to none! I still don’t feel like I’ve really told you how pleased I am with it all – but it was great! Thank you thank you thank you again – I’m saving already for the next time! I will now go onto your web site and drool over everything yet again – and have to read all the Chilkoot/Yukon books again that although I’ve already read, they’ll mean something else now that I’ve actually done the trail and the river! Words fail me (maybe not a moment too soon….) We’ll definitely be back!!!!”
“Let me start by making sure that our collective appreciation of your trip and your guides to the Johnston Strait this last week gets official. Simply put, for my part just about every expectation was not only met but well exceeded. Thanks for that!”
We had a wonderful, most amazing time, and we are still boring our friends and family with the photos of the Bowron Lakes. Thank you both VERY much for all your hard work, patience, and humour. You are both excellent leaders and we would love to come on one of your trips again.
